Initiated in 2012 by Vancouver-based artist Lee Su-Feh, The Talking, Thinking, Dancing Body-Calgary is a facilitated conversation led by Sasha Ivanochko and Artist in Residence Pamela Tzeng that courageously interrogates dance through a lens that is concerned with anti-colonialism, anti-racism and feminism. Our bi-monthly gatherings will encourage speaking about dance from an awareness of our bodies as well as the world it lives in. Schedule and information on topics will be provided to those who are in our Facebook Group.
Location: cSPACE King Edward, RGO Treehouse South (4th floor), 1721 29 Ave SW, Calgary. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Talking, Thinking, Dancing Body – Calgary discussions now take place online via ZOOM. Visit our Facebook page to RSVP!
A casual conversation with local and visiting artists on their work. Facilitated by Artistic Director Sasha Ivanochko
