Siobhan Cooney (She/Her)

Siobhan Cooney is a queer theatre, film, and dance artist from Calgary Alberta. She graduated with a BFA in Drama from the University of Calgary (2019), and in 2018 Siobhan received the Telus STORYHIVE Top Award for her series Summer’s Monster, which was nominated for an AMPIA Rosie award in the categories of Best Actress (Siobhan Cooney), and Best Web Series. Most recently Siobhan’s poster design for the short film A Good Night Sleeps was nominated for a CSIF STINGER Award. In March of 2020, Siobhan Co-Founded the Quarantine International Film Festival which received global recognition and earned her a spot in the Calgary Herald’s “Breakout Stars of 2020” Article.
