Laura Quigley is a Canadian playwright, performer and producer of theatre. She holds a Masters
in Theatre Studies from the University of Guelph, a BFA in Contemporary Theatre from Simon Fraser
University, and she is a certified teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®. Currently at Concordia University,
Laura teaches voice and acting, directs mainstage productions, and supports administrative functions in
the acting area. Laura has taught privately and institutionally in Montreal, Guelph, Toronto, Vancouver,
Mexico, New York and LA. She taught alongside Catherine Fitzmaurice and other master teachers as
part of the Fitzmaurice Voicework Certification in LA and NYC. Her recent solo, The Waves, was
dramaturged by Fides Krucker and Judith Thompson, directed by Clea Minaker and featured at
Summerworks, 2018. Laura lives in Belle River, Ontario with her husband and two daughters.
