Jacob Niedzweicki

Jacob Niedzweicki is a filmmaker and programmer whose work fuses movement, media, and code. A former professional ballet dancer, his short dance films have exhibited in festivals around the world, and his online videos (Who By Fire, Spike Solutions) have seen hundreds of thousands of plays. He directed the National Ballet of Canada’s marathon World Ballet Day 2014 & 2015 livestreams, as well as initiating live-to-classroom streams of performances by the company. He’s been creating in augmented reality since 2013, and has made AR works in collaboration with the Toronto International Film Festival and Heidi Strauss / adelheid.
